The Orchid 308 and 416 phone systems provide RJ11 sockets for the connection of telephone extensions, however most analogue telephones are supplies with BT plugs, including the Orchid DX800.

In order to connect an analogue telephone to these extension ports can either be done by woring out to extension sockets, or by using the RJ11 to BT Adpater, which we supply in a 10m length to provide a convenient way of proving the ability to locate extension telephones at various locations within a small office.

The BT1 offers the convenience of operating a door entry system from any Orchid PBX extension, the BT1 is compatible with all models in the Orchid Telephone System range.

In addition to conversing with a caller at the front door panel the extensions may allow them access by operating the door release from their telephone. For a standard PBX application we offer a complete system that includes all the necessary parts to carry out a successful installation.

The system comprises

- BT1 interface unit
- SPA1 one button surface panel
- Model 61 speech unit
- 240 VAC - 12V DC power supply
- Model 203 surface lock release
- BT1 Interface Dimensions: H = 230mm, W = 185mm, D = 45mm

This cable is used to connect the Orchid extension prots which are RJ11 to a CAT5e Patch Panel which is RJ45.

You may want to also consider the RJ45-BT Adapter BALUNS for the CAT5e Outlets so that you can connect your analogue telephones.

When using the Orchid Phone Systems with Structured Cabling, most Analogue Phones have a BT Plug on them and this RJ45 to BT Adapter with Capacitor enables the Analogue Phone to be conncted to the CAT5e RJ45 Outlet.

You may also require the RJ11 to RJ45 Leads to connect from the Orchid System to the CAT5e Patch Panel
